Meet The Team

Jékksyn (they/them)

Executive Director
jekksyn@tranzmission.org

Pronounced: jhek-sea-yin

Like many folks, Jékksyn contains multitudes, contradictions, and complexities in the vessel of their existence. They have been in the service of the work since the age of 15 and strive to continue to grow and learn with, from, and for their community. They began with Tranzmission by attending support groups in 2013 and have grown through the years alongside the organization.

When they have a spare moment, Jékksyn enjoys leisurely hiking, swimming, camping, art of many kinds, spending time with their cat, naps, exploring what new things they can create with whatever mediums they can get their hands on, learning new skills, listening to audiobooks, dancing by themselves, singing, visiting museums in new cities they travel too, animals, and bugs... they really like bugs..

Willa Jenkins (she/her)

Talya Mazuz Food Program and Pantry Director
willa@tranzmission.org

Willa is probably the result of some secret woodland science experiment set loose upon society. She is forever chasing forest friends, foraged flavors, and new sense experiences in her oft-expressed desire to live one thousand lives. She understands the mystic and material interconnectedness of all life and follows this connection towards a more liberated world.

Jasper (they/he)

Support Programs Director
jasper@tranzmission.org

Jasper is a transmasc(ish) neuroqueer with a heart full of whimsy. They began their journey as a peer-support specialist in 2006, when they completed their W.R.A.P. facilitator certification. Sadly, their training had not covered how to support the unique experiences of marginalized communities.

Jasper sought out various organizations where they could grow and adapt their skills in order to meet the needs of various queer and trans identities, with a special interest in the intersections of transness and neurodivergence. They began working with Tranzmission as a support group facilitator in June of 2024, and are now the director of Support Programming. In addition to their work with Tranzmission, Jasper is a parent, writer, podcast producer, and tarot reader.

Antonio (he/they)

Community Outreach Director
antonio@tranzmission.org

Antonio is a gardener, knitter, and weaver of spaces for beings to be nurtured. They are committed to building a just transition towards a liberatory future for the land and all her inhabitants. Antonio's favorite avenues of decomposition include fiber arts and fresh vegetables. Much like a beetle in a rotting tree, his beinghood looks like distributing the abundance available to him in service of (soil) building more capacity for life.
